AN ACT REQUIRING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF TITLE
FOR ANTIQUE, RARE OR SPECIAL INTEREST MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, at the request of an owner, to issue a 2
certificate of title for such owner's registered antique, rare or special 3
interest motor vehicle and charge such owner any fees required by 4
section 14-192 of the general statutes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To help the owners of classic motor vehicles and allow for the sale of
such vehicles to prospective buyers in other states and countries.
