1818 AN ACT RESTRICTING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PLUG -IN HYBRID
1919 ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN THE STATE.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to require, as a 1
2424 condition of selling a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in the state, a motor 2
2525 vehicle dealer to certify that the components of each battery in the plug-3
2626 in hybrid electric vehicle are procured from sources that do not engage 4
2727 in slave or child labor practices. 5
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To prevent the sale of a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle if the components
3030 of any battery in such electric vehicle are procured from sources that
3131 engage in slave or child labor practices.
