AN ACT REQUIRING AIRPORTS TO IMPLEMENT NOISE MITIGATION
PROGRAMS AND OTHER NOISE REDUCING MEASURES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 15 of the general statutes be amended to require certain 1
airports to implement noise mitigation programs and other noise 2
reducing measures for the benefit of homes and businesses within a 3
certain radius of such airport that are exposed to significant noise from 4
aircraft operations. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the quality of life for residents and businesses near airports
by reducing noise impacts from aircraft operations.
