AN ACT DESIGNATING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER AS VETERANS'
MONTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. Subsection (a) of section 10-29a of the general statutes is 1
amended by adding subdivision (118) as follows (Effective from passage): 2
(NEW) (118) The Governor shall proclaim the month of November of 3
each year to be Veterans' Month in recognition of the service and 4
sacrifice of individuals who have served in the armed forces to protect 5
the United States and the state of Connecticut. Suitable exercises may be 6
held in the State Capitol and elsewhere as the Governor designates for 7
the observance of the month. 8
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
