AN ACT ESTABLISHING A BUY CONNECTICUT PROGRAM FOR
DEFENSE CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a Buy Connecticut 1
program that provides sales tax exemptions and research and 2
development tax credits to defense contractors that utilize the services 3
of in-state subcontractors and businesses. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To create incentives for defense contractors to utilize the services of in-
state subcontractors and businesses.
