AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE DESIGN
AND CONSTRUCTION OF A SHIPBUILDING FACILITY IN THE TOWN
OF NORWICH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
nine hundred fifty thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used 4
by the Department of Economic and Community Development for the 5
purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Norwich for the 6
design and construction of a shipbuilding facility located at 1 Wisconsin 7
Avenue. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the design and construction of a shipbuilding
facility in the town of Norwich.
