AN ACT CONCERNING TIMELY COMPLETION OF STATE ELECTIONS
ENFORCEMENT COMMISSION AUDITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that, not 1
later than twelve months after the State Elections Enforcement 2
Commission receives all necessary information to conduct an audit of a 3
candidate committee following a primary or election, the commission 4
shall complete such audit and issue its findings. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require the State Elections Enforcement Commission to complete a
post-primary or post-election audit of a campaign, and issue findings,
not later than twelve months after receiving all necessary information to
conduct such audit.
