18	19		AN ACT CONCERNING THE BOARD OF PARDONS AND PAROLES.
19	20		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
20	21		Assembly convened:

22	23		Section 1. Subsection (c) of section 54-124a of the general statutes is 1
23	24		repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 2
24	25		1, 2025): 3
25	26		(c) Ten of the members of the board shall devote full time to the 4
26	27		performance of their duties under this section and shall be compensated 5
27	28		therefor in such amount as the Commissioner of Administrative 6
28	29		Services determines, subject to the provisions of section 4-40. The other 7
29	30		members of the board shall receive [one hundred ten dollars for each 8
30	31		day spent in] a per diem payment in such amount as the Commissioner 9
31	32		of Administrative Services determines, subject to the provisions of 10
32	33		section 4-40, for the performance of their duties and additionally shall 11
33	34		be reimbursed for necessary expenses incurred in the performance of 12
34	35		such duties. The chairperson or, in the chairperson's absence or inability 13
35	36		to act, a member designated by the chairperson to serve temporarily as 14
36	37		chairperson, shall be present at all meetings of the board and participate 15
