DUBITSKY, 47th Dist. RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE STATE CONSTITUTION CONCERNING TERM LIMITS FOR STATE LEGISLATORS AND FOR GOVERNOR AND LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR. Resolved by this Assembly: That the Constitution of the state be amended to provide that (1) no 1 person shall serve more than eight total terms in either chamber of the 2 General Assembly, and (2) no person shall serve more than three total 3 terms as either Governor or Lieutenant Governor. 4 Statement of Purpose: To establish term limits for state legislators and for Governor and Lieutenant Governor.
