AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE STATE -WIDE
NARCOTICS TASK FORCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of five hundred thousand dollars be appropriated to the 1
Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, from the 2
General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, for the state-wide 3
narcotics task force. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To direct additional resources to combat the illegal manufacturing and
sale of fentanyl in Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport and Waterbury.
