22 | 22 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General |

23 | 23 | | Assembly convened: |

25 | 25 | | That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to (1) prohibit the 1 |
---|
26 | 26 | | development, adoption or teaching of a curriculum for students in 2 |
---|
27 | 27 | | grades kindergarten to twelve, inclusive, that includes the teaching of 3 |
---|
28 | 28 | | biased political ideology or makes any individual feel discomfort, guilt, 4 |
---|
29 | 29 | | anguish or any other form of psychological distress on account of the 5 |
---|
30 | 30 | | individual's race or sex, and (2) define (A) "biased political ideology" as 6 |
---|
31 | 31 | | the following concepts: (i) One race or sex is inherently superior to 7 |
---|
32 | 32 | | another race or sex, (ii) the state of Connecticut or the United States of 8 |
---|
33 | 33 | | America is fundamentally racist or sexist, (iii) an individual, by virtue 9 |
---|
34 | 34 | | of the individual's race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive, 10 |
---|
35 | 35 | | whether consciously or unconsciously, (iv) an individual should be 11 |
---|
36 | 36 | | discriminated against or receive adverse treatment solely or partly 12 |
---|
37 | 37 | | because of the individual's race or sex, (v) an individual's moral 13 |
---|
38 | 38 | | character is necessarily determined by the individual's race or sex, (vi) 14 |
