1921 AN ACT REQUIRING LEGISLATIVE APPROVAL OF THE
2022 DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION'S
2123 EVICTION OF FARMERS CONDUCTING FARMING ON STATE -
2224 OWNED PROPERTY.
2325 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2426 Assembly convened:

26-Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Notwithstanding any 1
27-provision of the general statutes, any lease renewed or entered into after 2
28-the effective date of this section between the Commissioner of 3
29-Agriculture or the Commissioner of Energy and Environmental 4
30-Protection and a farmer for the lease of state property for agricultural 5
31-purposes shall provide that any eviction of such farmer from such 6
32-property shall not be permitted unless such eviction is approved by a 7
33-vote of both chambers of the General Assembly. 8
34-This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
35-sections:
