AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN ELECTRIC
UTILITY RATE CASES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Public Utilities 1
Regulatory Authority to make greater efforts to publicize ways for the 2
public to participate in electric distribution company rate cases and the 3
rate review process, including, but not limited to, filing public 4
comments and attending public hearings. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance public awareness and participation in electricity
distribution rate review.
