AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE BUILD FOR
CT PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
three hundred millions dollars, for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, 4
and June 30, 2027, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 5
Department of Housing to fund the Build for CT program. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To increase funding for the Build for CT program to address the housing
needs of Connecticut's middle-income renters.
