AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
REMEDIATION OF FILL PILE WASTE CONTAMINATION IN THE
TOWN OF FAIRFIELD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of providing a 5
grant-in-aid to the town of Fairfield for the remediation of waste 6
contamination associated with the Fairfield fill pile. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the remediation of waste contamination
associated with the fill pile in the town of Fairfield.
