AN ACT CONCERNING THE APPOINTMENT OF THE STATE
CONTRACTING STANDARDS BOARD CHAIRPERSON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 4e-2 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Governor to appoint a chairperson of the State Contracting Standards 2
Board not later than thirty days after the occurrence of a vacancy. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To maintain a continuity of business within the State Contracting
Standards Board by establishing a deadline for appointment of a
chairperson after the occurrence of a vacancy.
