21 | 21 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

24 | 24 | That chapter 50 of the general statutes be amended to require (1) each 1 | |
25 | 25 | executive branch agency to create an annual performance plan that 2 | |
26 | 26 | outlines the agency's strategic and operational priorities; (2) each such 3 | |
27 | 27 | agency to create an annual performance report that summarizes the 4 | |
28 | 28 | agency's performance plan and its progress toward strategic and 5 | |
29 | 29 | operational goals; (3) regular performance evaluations of each such 6 | |
30 | 30 | agency's progress toward goals outlined in its performance plan; and (4) 7 | |
31 | 31 | legislative public hearings for agencies to present their performance 8 | |
32 | 32 | plans to their respective committee of cognizance. 9 | |
