(By Request) AN ACT CONCERNING DRUGS PRESCRIBED TO TREAT ATTENTION-DEFICIT/HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 400j of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 a pharmacist shall dispense a drug prescribed to treat attention-2 deficit/hyperactivity disorder if the patient (1) has a valid prescription 3 for such drug, and (2) provides to the pharmacist a quantitative 4 electroencephalogram brain map produced for the patient. 5 Statement of Purpose: To further specify the circumstances in which a pharmacist shall dispense a drug prescribed to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.
