AN ACT LIMITING CHANGES TO PRESCRIPTION DRUG
FORMULARIES FOR PSYCHIATRIC PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 700c of the general statutes be amended to limit the 1
circumstances in which a health carrier may remove a psychiatric 2
prescription drug from such health carrier's drug formulary or list of 3
covered drugs, or move a psychiatric prescription drug to a different 4
cost-sharing tier, during a policy term. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the circumstances in which a health carrier may remove a
psychiatric prescription drug from such health carrier's drug formulary
or list of covered drugs, or move a psychiatric prescription drug to a
different cost-sharing tier, during a policy term.
