AN ACT CONCERNING INSURANCE COVERAGE OF CERTAIN IN
VITRO FERTILIZATION TREATMENTS FOR STATE AND MUNICIPAL
FIREFIGHTERS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require insurance coverage 1
for in vitro fertilizations, oocyte cryopreservation and sperm 2
cryopreservation for state and municipal firefights diagnosed with 3
cancer. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require fertility and reproductive health insurance coverage for state
and municipal firefighters diagnosed with cancer.
