AN ACT CONCERNING EXPANSION OF THE USE OF REMOTE
NOTARIZATION BY A NOTARY PUBLIC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 33 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1
any document that is required to be notarized under the general statutes 2
by a notary public may be electronically notarized through the use of 3
communication technology. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the use of electronic remote notarization by a notary public
using communication technology.
