2121 AN ACT CREATING A STATE CAUSE OF ACTION FOR INJURIES

2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2626 Assembly convened:

2828 That chapter 925 of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
2929 person to bring a cause of action in the Superior Court against an 2
3030 employer for: (1) Actual damages for injuries or illness caused by a 3
3131 vaccination or medicinal treatment program if the employer required 4
3232 the employee to receive such vaccination or medicinal treatment 5
3333 program as a condition of employment; and (2) punitive damages, if the 6
3434 employer knowingly requires the vaccination or medicinal treatment 7
3535 without confirming its safety based on publicly available medical 8
3636 testing and documentation. 9
3737 Statement of Purpose:
3838 To create a cause of action allowing an employee to recover actual and
3939 punitive damages for injuries or illness caused by a vaccination or Proposed Bill No. 214
