AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF 
REIMBURSING STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS BY HEALTH CARE 
PROVIDERS WHO PROVIDE PRO BONO SERVICES AT SCHOOL -
BASED HEALTH CLINICS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the Commissioner of Public Health be required to study, in 1 
consultation with the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, 2 
the feasibility of establishing a student loan reimbursement program 3 
that would benefit health care providers who provide pro bono services 4 
at one or more school-based health clinics for a certain number of hours 5 
annually.  6 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require a study of the feasibility of establishing a student loan 
reimbursement program for health care providers who provide pro 
bono services at school-based health clinics.
