AN ACT REQUIRING A STATE -WIDE PROTOCOL AND PROCEDURES
REGARDING SUPPRESSION OF FIRES IN ELECTRIC VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Departments of 1
Emergency Services and Public Protection and Energy and 2
Environmental Protection to jointly develop a state-wide protocol and 3
procedures regarding suppression of fires in electric vehicles. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a protocol to fight electric vehicle fires.
