AN ACT CONCERNING THE FEE FOR COMMEMORATIVE MOTOR
VEHICLE NUMBER PLATES FOR VETERANS AND MEMBERS OF
THE ARMED FORCES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 14-20b of the general statutes be amended to eliminate 1
the fee charged by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles for the issuance 2
of commemorative number plates for veterans and members of the 3
armed forces. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow veterans and members of the armed forces to obtain
commemorative number plates at no additional cost beyond the cost to
register a motor vehicle.
