AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF AN UNAUTHORIZED
INDIVIDUAL FROM REAL PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow law enforcement to 1
remove, at the request of the owner of the real property, any individual 2
who is unlawfully occupying such property and who does not possess 3
a signed written agreement with the owner authorizing such occupancy, 4
in lieu of requiring a summary process action for the occupant's 5
removal. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To allow law enforcement to remove an individual from real property if
such individual does not possess a signed written agreement
authorizing the individual's occupancy.
