AN ACT CODIFYING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE EMERGENCY
MEDICAL TREATMENT AND ACTIVE LABOR ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to codify certain provisions of 1
the federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act 2
concerning the treatment of an emergency medical condition, as defined 3
in said act. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To codify certain provisions of the federal Emergency Medical
Treatment and Active Labor Act concerning emergency health care.
