AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF THE STATE FIRE SAFETY
CODE RELATING TO METHODS OF EGRESS IN THE EVENT OF AN
INTRUDER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Fire Marshal and the Codes and Standards Committee 1
study the provisions of the State Fire Safety Code relating to methods of 2
egress in the event of an intruder, including the use of a lock that 3
requires two releasing motions. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To study the State Fire Safety Code as it relates to methods of egress in
the event of an intruder, including the use of a lock that requires two
releasing motions.
