1818 AN ACT CONCERNING SKILLED TRADE LICENSING RECIPROCITY,
1919 LICENSING FEES AND APPRENTICESHIP RATIOS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to (1) provide licensing 1
2424 reciprocity to skilled tradespersons who are licensed in other states and 2
2525 whose work is necessary to construct homes in this state, (2) limit 3
2626 licensing fees for skilled tradespersons to not more than one hundred 4
2727 dollars annually, (3) eliminate apprenticeship ratios for any entity with 5
2828 fewer than twenty licensees, and (4) change the apprenticeship ratio to 6
2929 one apprentice to one licensee for any entity with at least twenty 7
3030 licensees. 8
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To provide for licensing reciprocity for skilled tradespersons, cap
3333 licensing fees applicable to skilled tradespersons and modify the
3434 required apprenticeship ratios applicable to the skilled trades.
