20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
21 | 21 | Assembly convened: | |

23 | 23 | That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to: (1) Increase 1 | |
24 | 24 | Medicaid reimbursement rates up to one hundred per cent of the 2 | |
25 | 25 | corresponding Medicare rates for covered inpatient and outpatient 3 | |
26 | 26 | services, including, but not limited to, services provided by physicians, 4 | |
27 | 27 | other health care professionals, dentists, hospitals, health care facilities, 5 | |
28 | 28 | emergency medical transportation providers and pharmacies, (2) 6 | |
29 | 29 | increase such rates annually for inflation as measured by the consumer 7 | |
30 | 30 | price index, (3) amend the Medicaid state plan as necessary to 8 | |
31 | 31 | implement such rate increases, (4) review such rates not less frequently 9 | |
32 | 32 | than every four years unless otherwise required by state or federal law 10 | |
33 | 33 | or more frequently as determined by the Department of Social Services 11 | |
34 | 34 | or the legislature, and (5) require the department to submit findings 12 | |
35 | 35 | concerning such rate reviews to the joint standing committees of the 13 | |
36 | 36 | General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 14 | |
