AN ACT REQUIRING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FAIR RENT
COMMISSION IN ANY TOWN, CITY OR BOROUGH WITH A
POPULATION OF AT LEAST TEN THOUSAND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (b) of section 7-148b of the general statutes be 1
amended to require that any town, city or borough with a population of 2
ten thousand or more adopt an ordinance that establishes a fair rent 3
commission. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require that a municipality with a population of ten thousand or
more establish a fair rent commission.
