AN ACT EXCLUDING PATIENT HEALTH INFORMATION AND
MEDICAL RECORDS RELATING TO PLASTIC SURGERY FROM THE
STATE-WIDE HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-59d of the general statutes be amended to exclude 1
patient health information and medical records relating to plastic 2
surgery from the State-wide Health Information Exchange. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To exclude patient health information and medical records relating to
plastic surgery from the State-wide Health Information Exchange.
