AN ACT DECLARING OPIOID AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS A
PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS AND ESTABLISHING A COMMISSION ON
OPIOID AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) declare opioid and 1
substance use disorders a public health crisis, and (2) establish a 2
commission on opioid and substance use disorders to make 3
recommendations to address such disorders. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To declare opioid and substance use disorders a public health crisis and
establish a commission on opioid and substance use disorders.
