AN ACT IMPROVING STANDARDS FOR REHABILITATION
FACILITIES AND ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES IN THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) enhance staffing in 1
rehabilitation facilities, (2) require the development of emergency 2
protocols in assisted living facilities, (3) require transparent pricing by 3
assisted living facilities, and (4) require rehabilitation facilities to (A) 4
create individualized mobility plans for residents, (B) execute daily 5
movement and therapy sessions for residents, and (C) provide routine 6
podiatric care for all residents to prevent complications impeding 7
mobility. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To improve standards for rehabilitation facilities and assisted living
facilities.
