AN ACT CONCERNING THE OVERSIGHT OF HEALTH CARE IN
CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
HEALTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to establish within 1
the Department of Public Health an Office of Oversight of Health Care 2
in Correctional Institutions to oversee the delivery of health care 3
services to inmates in correctional institutions. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish within the Department of Public Health an Office of
Oversight of Health Care in Correctional Institutions to oversee the
delivery of health care services to inmates in correctional institutions.
