AN ACT REQUIRING THE HATE CRIMES INVESTIGATIVE UNIT TO
RESPOND TO AND INVESTIGATE INSTANCES OF TRANSNATIONAL
REPRESSION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 29 of the general statutes be amended to require the Hate 1
Crimes Investigative Unit to respond to and investigate instances of 2
transnational repression against residents of the state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Hate Crimes Investigative Unit to respond to and
investigate instances of transnational repression against residents of the
state.
