AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE CREATION OF
REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 20.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of one million five hundred thousand dollars be 1
appropriated to the Department of Education, from the General Fund, 2
for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, for the creation of Regional 3
School District 20; and further, that section 10-262j of the general statutes 4
be amended to exempt such funding from the calculation of the 5
minimum budget requirement for Regional School District 20. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To assist in the creation of a new Regional School District 20.
