AN ACT PERMITTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGIONAL
SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to permit local and 1
regional boards of education to establish regional special education 2
programs and to be eligible to receive a school building project grant 3
under chapter 173 of the general statutes with a reimbursement 4
percentage of ninety per cent for any school building projects associated 5
with the establishment of such regional special education programs. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To permit and incentivize school districts to form regional special
education programs.
