23 | 23 | That chapter 926 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 | |
24 | 24 | an action to recover damages for personal injury to a person caused by 2 | |
25 | 25 | fertility fraud may be brought not later than three years from the date 3 | |
26 | 26 | the minor child reaches the age of majority, or three years after the date 4 | |
27 | 27 | on which the fraud is discovered, whichever occurs later. 5 | |
28 | 28 | Statement of Purpose: | |
29 | 29 | To provide that an action to recover damages for personal injury to a | |
30 | 30 | person caused by fertility fraud may be brought not later than three | |
31 | 31 | years from the date the minor child reaches the age of majority, or three | |
32 | 32 | years after the date on which the fraud is discovered, whichever occurs | |
33 | 33 | later. |
