AN ACT CONCERNING TEMPORARY STATE -APPOINTED MONITORS FOR HOSPITAL-INITIATED CHANGES TO PHYSICIAN OR PHYSICIAN GROUP STAFFING. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require the appointment of 1 a state-appointed monitor for a period of one year in the event a hospital 2 makes unilateral changes to the staffing of physician groups with seven 3 or more members. 4 Statement of Purpose: To require the appointment of a state-appointed monitor for a period of one year in the event a hospital makes unilateral changes to the staffing of physician groups with seven or more members.
