AN ACT REPEALING THE FUNDING EXEMPTION TO THE
AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS IN SCHOOLS
REQUIREMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 10-212d of the general statutes be 1
amended to repeal the provision permitting local and regional boards 2
of education from having an automatic external defibrillator in each 3
school under its jurisdiction if funding is not available to such board for 4
the purchase of such automatic external defibrillators. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To repeal the exemption from the requirement that all schools have
automatic external defibrillators.
