AN ACT REQUIRING THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO STUDY
EDUCATION REFORM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Department of Education be required to study the education 1
reform that occurred in the state of Massachusetts during the 1990s and 2
the applicability of such reform in this state, and to report its findings 3
and recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General 4
Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education not later 5
than January 1, 2026. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Education to study educational reform.
