AN ACT CONCERNING TIERED MEMBERSHIP TO AN
INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETIC CONFERENCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statute be amended to allow for an associated 1
membership to an interscholastic athletic conference for nonmember 2
schools to be eligible to participate in state tournaments provided such 3
nonmember schools adhere to the rules established by such athletic 4
conference, but does not entail full participation in such athletic 5
conference. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for an associated membership to an interscholastic athletic
conference to allow eligible nonmember schools to participate in state
tournaments.
