AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE PURCHASE
OF AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS AT SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
two hundred fifty thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used 4
by the Department of Education for the purpose of providing grants-in-5
aid to schools for purchasing automatic external defibrillators. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to schools for the purchase of automatic external
defibrillators.
