AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE TOWN HALL IN THE TOWN OF STAFFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
___ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Office of Policy 4
and Management for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the 5
town of Stafford for improvements to the town hall to comply with 6
physical accessibility guidelines, as applicable, under the federal 7
Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 USC 12101, et seq., as amended from 8
time to time. 9
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for improvements to the town hall in the town of
Stafford to comply with physical accessibility guidelines under the
federal Americans with Disabilities Act.
