| 24 | 24 | That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to require that 1 | |
| 25 | 25 | the State Elections Enforcement Commission, when reviewing the 2 | |
| 26 | 26 | application of a candidate committee for a grant from the Citizens' 3 | |
| 27 | 27 | Election Fund, provide to the treasurer of such candidate committee (1) 4 | |
| 28 | 28 | a list of each contribution to the candidate committee that said 5 | |
| 29 | 29 | commission has not deemed a qualifying contribution, (2) an 6 | |
| 30 | 30 | explanation for each such contribution of why said commission has not 7 | |
| 31 | 31 | deemed it a qualifying contribution, and (3) an opportunity to either (A) 8 | |
| 32 | 32 | cure the defect with the contribution so that it will be deemed a 9 | |
| 33 | 33 | qualifying contribution and accepted toward successful application for 10 | |
| 34 | 34 | such grant, or (B) refund such contribution to the contributor. 11 | |
