AN ACT DEFINING "DAY" FOR PURPOSES OF THE PAID SICK
LEAVE STATUTES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 31-57r of the general statutes be amended to define "day" 1
as eight hours worked by an employee. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To define "day" as eight hours worked by an employee for purposes of
the paid sick leave statutes.
