AN ACT REMOVING CERTAIN NOTICE PROVISIONS CONCERNING
REPEAT BLIGHT VIOLATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subparagraph (H) of subdivision (7) of subsection (c) of section 1
7-148 of the general statutes be amended to remove the requirement of 2
notice and opportunity to remediate to an owner of real property upon 3
which a condition that constitutes blight is present if such condition is 4
the second or greater instance of a blight violation upon such property. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To remove certain notice and opportunity to remediate provisions
concerning repeat blight violations to provide municipalities with
additional anti-blight enforcement powers.
