AN ACT ESTABLISHING A WORKING GROUP TO STUDY
EXEMPTING VETERANS FROM THE FEES FOR STATE-OWNED OR
STATE-CONTROLLED BUS PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That (1) a working group be established to study exempting veterans 1
from the fees for state-owned or state-controlled bus public 2
transportation services, (2) such working group be composed of 3
representatives from the Department of Transportation and the 4
Department of Veterans Affairs, and (3) such working group submit a 5
report of legislative recommendations to the joint standing committees 6
of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 7
transportation and veterans not later than December 31, 2025. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a working group to study exempting veterans from the fees
for state-owned or state-controlled bus public transportation services.
