AN ACT STUDYING COMPENSATION OF ELECTION WORKERS
DURING THE EARLY VOTING PERIOD AND ON ELECTION DAY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a study be conducted on the compensation of registrars of voters 1
and other local election workers during the early voting period prior to 2
the day of an election, and on the day of an election, for purposes of 3
ensuring such compensation is appropriate for the required 4
responsibilities and hours. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To study the compensation of registrars of voters and other local
election workers during the early voting period and on the day of an
election.
